The weekend’s finally here, and if your plans involve relaxing by a pool or visiting a local farmers market, don’t forget to slather on some sunscreen before heading out the door.

Given that skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., according to the American Academy of Dermatology Association—and melanoma, one type of skin cancer, has been rapidly on the rise in recent decades—properly protecting your skin can make a lasting difference for your overall health…hopefully for many years to come.

But a newly released report sheds light on several types of sunscreens, all seemingly marketed as organic skincare options, and an apparent issue.

On Thursday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a recall of 508 tubes and bottles of sunscreen that appear to be from four different brands: B Natural Organics, Erin’s Faces, Kabana Organic Skincare, and In Your Face.

The problem with the sunscreens, according to the FDA’s report, is “cGMP deviations.” The FDA has certain standards for Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations for “systems that assure proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities,” explains the agency’s website.

The products were reportedly distributed in three states: Florida, Michigan, and New Jersey.
